After 30 years of existence and actions aimed at empowering and structurally transforming children and young people, it is important to take stock to appraise progress made as well as possible challenges encountered.

It is also important to assess the participation of children and young people in building communities that protect children’s rights, and to hear their voices on their development aspirations, with a view to future generations.

It is within this framework that this study to analyze AMWCY induced effects over the past three decades was carried out.

The general aim of this study is to objectively measure, on the basis of reliable data, progress made in terms of changes observed in the realization of the rights of working children and young people, and the contribution of AMWCY over the past 30 years.
