MAEJT Nigeria organized a Mega Psychosocial Play Activity in Badagry, Lagos State, bringing together Child Domestic Workers and children from the local community to champion the right to play.
The event featured:
- Traditional & modern games
- Quizzes & interactive activities
- Dance competitions
- Safe spaces for self-expression, fun & bonding. But beyond recreation, the activity also served as a powerful advocacy platform:
- Raising awareness on the exploitation of child domestic workers
- Identifying and supporting vulnerable children in need of special care
- Engaging community leaders & stakeholders who pledged their support.
Together, we move closer to a safer society and stronger child protection & safer communities.
